Mission:
To be a light in the darkness when hope of rescue or relief seems all but gone. |
Goal:
Nightlight exists to provide shelter, critical resources, and emergency extraction for individuals trapped in life-threatening situations — those who seem to have no other way of escape.
History:
In August 2021, as U.S. and allied forces withdrew from Afghanistan, the Taliban’s rapid resurgence plunged the nation into chaos. Almost overnight, Nightlight became a vital part in extracting (EXFIL) high-value individuals — people marked for death because of their beliefs, work, or affiliations.
While operations in Afghanistan persist to this day, the outbreak of war in Ukraine in February 2022 opened a new front of crisis. As Russian forces launched their attack, many of those we had previously helped — or who had helped us — reached out again, seeking or offering help.
Through a trusted global network, NightLight continues to operate quietly across conflict zones — from Kabul to Kyiv — bringing light into some of the world’s darkest places. We remain committed to reaching those with seemingly nowhere else to turn.
Due to the sensitive nature of our missions, our operations remain undercover — for reasons you can surely understand. If you would like to stand with us and support those facing imminent danger, your donation can make a life-saving difference.
